Fiona Higney trained at London’s KLC School of Interior Design, in the heart of the world renowned Chelsea Design Centre. After graduating with distinction, she began to fulfil a burning ambition to fully engage her creative passion, eye for detail, and warm personality in her work. Fiona gained invaluable experience freelancing for a number of successful Interior Designers before more recently taking on her own projects. As a prior owner of a successful sports marketing business, Fiona understands the importance of listening closely to clients’ needs and building both trust and a deep understanding of the practical, stylistic and budgetary requirements of a project, no matter how big or small.
Having studied Art throughout her academic life, balance, scale and visual harmony are the principles underpinning Fiona’s work in Interior Design. Colour, texture and pattern are also used to generate mood and interest - amplified or paired back to be sympathetic to the architecture of the space and the clients’ desires.
Fiona loves collaborating with her clients, working together in an open and friendly manner, to develop long lasting, beautifully balanced interiors which reflect the personalities of the occupants whether the style is predominantly traditional or contemporary or a considered mix of both.
